Thanks for posting this. I’ve been working out for 20 some years and I would say it has paid off. I lift weights 6 days a week alternating upper and lower body. I run 9 miles 3 days a week and the other days I do the elliptical machine for 1 hr or so. I’m probably at the body weight I’m going to stay at because the scale doesn’t budge anymore. I’m 54 yrs old, 5’3″ and weigh around 122 lbs. Hopefully you will inspire other women to exercise.
I believe that avoiding prepared foods may be the first step in order to lose weight. They could taste good, but highly processed foods contain very little nutritional value, making you feed on more simply to have enough power to get through the day. For anyone who is constantly eating these foods, transferring to whole grain products and other complex carbohydrates will aid you to have more power while having less.
